Today's a historic day for Davao City and I am glad to be part of it. I am referring about the opening of Abreeza Mall. I, together with Yatz spent our day at the mall from 10AM to 9:30PM. We went there just for the sake of seeing what are inside the mall and hopefully to buy something, eat and just unwind. However, to our surprise, we witnessed different activities starting from the mass in the morning, followed by the meet & greet session with Enchong Dee and Joseph Marco. We watched Priest on their 3D theater. Then, we walked around the mall again, and to our surprise again, we saw Dawn Zulueta and we followed her, of course only to find out that she will be signing autographs. So, we fell in line (it was a short line because it was inside the department store), and good thing that only few people find out that she was there; it wasn't announced. We had a brief picture taking with her. After which, we ate at the free merienda buffet (cocktail style) at the department store lobby (solved na ang snacks). So, since we knew that Christian Bautista will be at the supermarket area at around 3-4 PM, we went there and as expected he was there entertaining the large number of screaming fans. We took pictures of him, but we weren't able to have a picture with him. We walked around the mall again and we waited for Billy Crawford to arrive. Finally, at around 7PM Billy arrived and the short program started. He sung. danced and made some practical jokes (he is funny, in fairness to him).
It was around 8PM already, so we decided to go at Starbucks already. We fell in line again and waited for some vacant seats. Good thing that we were able to share a seat with someone and we had an instant acquaintance in the persona of Ms. Ruby. We went home afterwards. It was also raining so hard already. Bottomline, we had a great time. :-)
